Meet Taisha Plummer

Taisha has been a Licensed Vocational Nurse for five years living in Houston, TX, and has been a FleetNurse for over eight months. When it comes to nursing she says giving back is what it is all about, “my sister is taking care of my mom right now and said ‘I don’t know how you do it every day’, and I said it is just what I get up and love to do.”

Plummer is currently in school online, and working with FleetNurse helps her work around her school schedule and spend time with her family and friends, “I had to go home for a few weeks to take care of my family. I didn’t have to be ‘hey I need four weeks off’ I just said ‘hey I am not going to be able to pick up shifts for a while’, and I was able to pick up where I left off.” 

Plummer does work with agencies other than FleetNurse to pick up shifts, but she says that FleetNurse offers more shifts and better communication, “FleetNurse by far the response time, anything that I needed. I can’t get that with other agencies.”
